Communicate important notices immediately

In a public administration, operational information changes constantly: opening hours, service interruptions, temporary incidents or last-minute modifications. Digital screens allow you to update these notices in real time without relying on printing and distributing posters. For a notice to be effective, it must be clear, brief and legible from a distance. Use large fonts, high contrast and a single message per screen, avoiding overloading with too much data. For example, a change in an office's opening hours can be communicated immediately on all screens in the building, ensuring that citizens receive the information before reaching the counter.

Give visibility to public activities and programming

Cultural centres, libraries and other public spaces regularly organise exhibitions, workshops, conferences and activities that need promotion. Digital signage allows you to display this programme in a visual and attractive way, with images of the activity, dates and key details. Unlike a printed poster, the screen can rotate between several activities, prioritising the most imminent or relevant for the day. Furthermore, content can be updated at no extra cost if there are last-minute changes. To maintain interest, combine institutional pieces with more creative pieces that highlight the benefit for the citizen, such as free entry or registration.

Help visitors find their way inside public buildings

Public buildings often have several floors and departments; finding the right place can be confusing for the visitor. Digital screens function as interactive or static directories that show the location of registries, social services, the assembly hall and other service points. This wayfinding function reduces the burden on reception staff and improves the citizen experience. To be useful, the content must be organised by floor or area, with clear icons and concise texts. In large buildings, screens can be placed at entrances, near lifts and in strategic corridors, updating the information when offices or services change.

Promote public initiatives and campaigns

Local administrations launch mobility, environmental, citizen participation and other public interest campaigns. Digital screens allow you to give visibility to these initiatives in a coordinated way, without needing to print leaflets or posters. Because content can be updated easily, the message can be adapted to the phase of the campaign or the public passing through the space at that moment. For example, during Mobility Week, screens can show the calendar of workshops and activities, reminding people of times and locations. This turns every screen into a dynamic and effective public communication channel.
