Digital signage for aesthetic clinics: how to promote treatments and services

Turn your clinic’s screens into a tool to present treatments clearly, visually and action-oriented, without overwhelming your patients.

A clinic screen can do more than display a list of services

Many clinics use their screens as a simple list of treatments and prices. While this information is useful, it does not take advantage of the screen's potential to capture attention, explain a treatment and motivate an enquiry.

A static digital sign communicates little more than a printed leaflet. In contrast, a well-constructed visual campaign can present a treatment progressively: first the context, then the explanation, later the benefit and, finally, the invitation to ask for information.

The difference lies in turning the screen into a communicative sequence rather than a simple showcase of services.

Promote one treatment at a time

In an aesthetic clinic, there are dozens of treatments: facial, body, rejuvenation, wellness, etc. If you try to show them all at once, the message becomes diluted and the patient retains none.

The recommendation is to focus each campaign on a single treatment or service. This way, you can explain what it involves, who it is suitable for and what results can be expected (without promising specific medical results). A single message per screen also makes it easier to create a clear visual hierarchy: a main image, a headline, a short explanation and a next step.

Additionally, by promoting one treatment at a time, you can update campaigns more frequently and keep content fresh for returning patients.

Make the treatment easy to understand visually

The design of a screen campaign must communicate quickly. A patient at reception or in the waiting room usually looks at the screen for a few seconds. In that time, they must grasp what treatment it is and why it interests them.

Work on visual hierarchy: place a high-quality main image that represents the treatment or its result, followed by the treatment name in a clear headline and a brief description that explains the main benefit. Avoid long blocks of text; use short, legible sentences from a distance.

For example, for a deep facial cleansing treatment, the image can show luminous, cared-for skin, the headline can be 'Deep Facial Cleansing' and the description: 'Renew your skin in one session. Ask at reception for availability.'

Explain the value before showing the CTA

The order of information matters. If you show the 'Book an appointment' button before explaining the treatment, the patient will have no reason to act. Build the message progressively: first interest (image and name), then value (what it offers, how it feels, why it is different) and only at the end the call to action.

In the aesthetic field, it is crucial to maintain an honest tone and not promise unguaranteed medical results. Talk about general benefits, sensations or common aesthetic improvements, but avoid claims like 'eliminates wrinkles forever' or 'guaranteed results'. Instead, use phrases like 'visible improvement in skin texture' or 'feeling of firmness from the first session', provided they are consistent with professional ethics.

By explaining the value first and then inviting action, the patient feels they are making an informed decision, not being sold something.

Combine related treatments and services

Once you have presented an individual treatment, you can use the screens to show logical combinations of services. For example, after promoting a facial cleansing, you could suggest a deep hydration or a luminosity treatment. These combinations should be based on the clinic's professional experience and the usual needs of patients, not on invented clinical relationships.

Cross-promotion helps increase the average ticket and raise awareness of less requested services. However, it is important not to overload: if the screen shows too many options at once, the patient will feel overwhelmed. A good practice is to alternate individual campaigns with campaigns that group two or three complementary treatments, always with a clear message and a single priority action.

Adapt campaigns to the moment and area of the clinic

Not all clinic screens serve the same function. At reception, the patient is passing through and needs short, direct messages. In the waiting room, the patient has more time, so you can show longer sequences with more detail. In corridors or transit areas, a striking image with a brief sentence works best.

You can also schedule campaigns according to the time of day or season. For example, in the morning you can show welcome or day-preparation treatments, while in the afternoon you can promote relaxing treatments. On special dates (such as before summer or the holidays) you can launch themed campaigns related to seasonal needs, always respecting ethics and without misleading promotions.

The ability to schedule and update screens remotely allows you to keep content relevant without being physically in the clinic.

How to do it with iMediaGO

iMediaGO allows you to put all the above into practice easily. The platform is designed so that anyone on the team, without advanced technical knowledge, can create, organise and publish visual campaigns on clinic screens.

The workflow is natural:

1. **Create**: select a template or start from a blank canvas and add your campaign's visual elements (image, text, button). 2. **Organise scenes**: structure the sequence of scenes that will make up your campaign, like the ones we've seen before. 3. **Schedule**: define on which screens and at which times each campaign will be shown. 4. **Publish**: send the campaign to your clinic screens remotely. 5. **Update**: modify content at any time without needing to travel.

With iMediaGO, your clinic screen stops being a decorative element and becomes an active promotion tool, aligned with business objectives.
